For many, with the summer behind us, this time of year is an exciting time filled with opportunity and promise. Children have begun the new school year and young adults have enrolled at college/university filled with trepidation. It is a time of change and can be a catalyst for wonderful things to happen.
For others, who have perhaps had a difficult summer with a partner they no longer love, there may be feelings of helplessness. When a relationship breaks down it is often difficult to know which way to turn.
At AWB Charlesworth, our aim is simple – to achieve the right outcome for you.
We will listen, understand what you want to achieve, explain your options and seek an early resolution. Our aim is to minimise conflict and resolve disputes in a dignified manner. However, protecting your interests and those of your children is our priority and immediate and firm action will be taken if necessary.
We are proud of our reputation across North and West Yorkshire with years of experience in providing specialist advice in all aspects of relationship breakdown. We will travel to any of our three offices or arrange home visits if necessary.
All of our solicitors adopt and endorse the approach of Resolution, an organisation of specialist family lawyers dedicated to achieving the right outcome for you in a constructive non-confrontational way.
Before you commit to anything, we offer a face-to-face meeting with one of our solicitors for a fixed fee of £100. At your first meeting we shall:-
- Ask you to explain the issues.
- Establish what you wish to achieve.
- Explain your options and the likely procedure.
- Give an estimate of your likely costs.
- Agree with you as to how you wish to proceed.
Typically your first meeting will last between 1-2 hours, after which you will have a full understanding of your options and the likely costs of achieving a resolution. Following the meeting, there is no obligations to take any further action if you do not wish to do so.
If you wish to arrange a meeting, please contact a member of our Family Team at one of our three offices. Amanda De Winter , head of the family department, can be contacted on 01756 692871.
