Over thirty guests from local businesses met this week for a sunny spring networking event organised by AWB Charlesworth Solicitors and Barclays.
The event was held at the Shipley Golf Club and the group was joined by Chris Robinson of Maven Training who gave a short taster of his inspirational presentation on Resilience and Leadership. Guests also heard from Chris Winn from Barclays about EagleLabs Leeds, an exciting innovation designed to resource local growing businesses through finance, flexible workspace and events.
Teams from Barclays Premier Banking and AWB Charlesworth Solicitors were available to speak to guests on a range of personal and business finance and legal matters, whilst enjoying refreshments and hospitality in the tranquil setting of Shipley Golf Club.
Mike Gorman, Business Development Manager for Barclays Premier in the Yorkshire region said “thank you to all the attendees and our partners AWB Charlesworth Solicitors in supporting this event at Shipley Golf Club to highlight the value of local relationships. The evening was an opportunity to connect with the Bingley community and demonstrate our commitment to help businesses achieve their ambitions.”
Felicity Green, Director at AWB Charlesworth Solicitors and co-organiser said “The Bingley business community is an exciting place to be. Our Firm already provides services to, and obtains services from, many local businesses and our hope in running these events is to connect up more local professionals who can support and resource one another, strengthening the Aire Valley business community further.”
