Liam is the head of the Private Client team. He has specialised in wills, probate and trusts work since 2004. Prior to that Liam used to deal exclusively with property work.
Liam qualified as a solicitor in 2008 having previously practised as a legal executive. Liam joined the practice in 2009.
In addition to being a qualified solicitor, Liam is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
Liam deals with a wide range of probate and trusts work. He drafts wills and powers of attorney for clients with complex needs, administers estates, drafts and restructures trusts, provides inheritance tax planning advice and deals with wills, trusts and estates disputes.
Dispute work accounts for around a third to half of Liam’s work with the rest of his work being a fairly equal mix of estate administration, trust work and will preparation.
Outside of the office Liam enjoys spending time with his young family, mountain biking and, when time allows, watching rugby (both codes) and F1.
