Sarah is a member of the Skipton private client department. She specialises in wills, administration of estates and lasting powers of attorneys.
Sarah has worked in various legal departments over the last 35 years. Sarah joined AWB Charlesworth Solicitors in March 2014 and has worked in the private client department since joining. Sarah initially joined the firm as a secretary and became a legal advisor in the department in 2016.
Sarah drafts wills and lasting powers of attorneys and administers estates.
Since joining the firm Sarah has gained experience in wills and lasting powers of attorneys by attending client meetings and conferences with solicitors, drafting wills and power of attorneys for solicitors and attending will drafting seminars. She is currently studying for the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners Will drafting certificate.
Estate administrations accounts for around a quarter of Sarah’s work with the rest of her work being a fairly equal mix of will and lasting power of attorney preparation.
Outside of the office Sarah enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys watching her son play rugby for a local team and theater trips to London.
