AWB Charlesworth Solicitors are pleased to partner with the BPP University Law School to launch the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship Scheme a 6-year programme which offers an alternative route into the legal profession.. It provides an opportunity for apprentices to learn and study simultaneously gaining knowledge and experience and avoiding accumulating large amounts of student debt from the traditional route.

This programme provides the knowledge and skills for the apprentice to become a qualified solicitor all whilst working in the dynamic and faced paced legal environment that AWB Charlesworth Solicitors will provide. Associate Directors, Chris Cooper and Sadia Ali, will be leading the apprenticeship programme at AWB Charlesworth.

Emma Davies commences her apprenticeship in September will be AWB Charlesworth’s first apprentice to start the scheme.  Emma says “the Solicitor Apprenticeship Scheme appealed to me because it would allow me to gain hands on experience in the legal field whilst earning a wage.  University did not offer me this pathway”.

Sadia Ali, Associate Director, says “AWB Charlesworth is a progressive, forward-thinking firm. As the firm continues to go from strength to strength, it is an exciting time for Emma to join and we are looking forward to Emma commencing her apprenticeship at the firm”.

Chris Cooper, Associate Director says, “at AWB Charlesworth we are constantly looking at ways we can develop the firm as well as support the local communities in which our offices are based and partnering with BPP University Law School and launching the Apprenticeship Scheme was a natural step towards achieving these. We are looking forward to the future of the firm and giving young people in the local community an alternative route into the legal profession”.
