Embsay Festival – £6,000 raised!

Embsay Festival

The sun shone, the bands played, food and drink was eaten and a good time was had by all at Embsay Festival!

Nearly 400 people attended Embsay Festival, organised and run by Jenny Barron, Head of Wills, Trust and Probate at AWB Charlesworth Solicitors. The money raised for Manorlands is still being counted but Jenny believes it’s definitely hit her initial target of £2,000. It could even be double that!

Jenny would like to give a big thank you to all the sponsors: AWB Charlesworth, Crag and Co, McDowell, Tiffany, Wilman and Wilman, and Woolers. And to the bands and singers: The Loud Minority Samba Band, Kirsty Brannan, Bertie and the Signs, Stiletto, Undercover and the Gatsbys. And to the food van, the ice cream van, the bouncy castle man, the face painting lady, the beer supplier and the emergency beer supplier (!): Oakleys, Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream Van, Glimmer, Glam and Gifts, Yorkshire Inflatables, Wharfedale Brewery and Lucy Ackroyd. And to everyone who helped out and everyone who came.

Who knew it was so much fun raising money for Manorlands!? See you all next year?
