Jenny runs London Marathon for Manorlands

Congratulations to Head of Wills, Trust and Probate, Jenny Barron. She ran the London Marathon for Manorlands, in an amazing time of 3hrs, 57mins, 18 seconds. Also amazing: she doesn’t look very tired!
Manorlands is our charity of choice for 2024, and we’re on target to raise £7,000 by the end of the year. Manorlands is a charity close to our hearts, having helped staff and clients over many years. And astonishingly, only a third of its income comes from central government and the NHS, so they rely heavily on fundraising. Sue Ryder’s Manorlands hospice is in Oxenhope, near Keighley, and they do fantastic work. Not only a provider of palliative care, they also provide rehabilitation, specialist community services, and complementary therapies.
Not content to just run 26.2 miles, Jenny clearly has some energy to spare and is also running Embsay Festival on the 11th of May from 14:00. There will be live music, food vans , ice cream, and plenty more to keep the kids entertained, all to raise even more for Manorlands.
AWB Charlesworth are proud to play a small part (but a big London Marathon effort!) in these fundraising efforts.
