Mark gained a joint honours degree in Law and French from Newcastle University in 2004, and he later qualified as a solicitor in 2009. He joined the AWB Charlesworth team in August 2012 and specialises in a range of wills and probate matters.
Mark is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
What attracted you to a career in law? I wanted a career where I could help people, especially when they face times of difficulties.
What interests you about your specific area of law? It is a technical and challenging area of law. I get to meet lots of people.
If you were not a lawyer/ fee earner: I would be an architect.
Your favourite pastimes: Walking, cycling and running.
An unusual fact about you: I speak French.
Your best personal quality: Patience.
The most challenging aspect of your role: Helping clients who are going through very upsetting personal circumstances.
